Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Produce Department Trainer to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our team members, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to provide exceptional customer service and maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality.Key Responsibilities

• Training Delivery: Develop and deliver training programs for produce team members, covering topics such as customer service, food safety, and product knowledge.
• Team Development: Work closely with team leaders and department managers to identify training needs and develop customized training solutions.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all training programs meet the highest standards of quality and are aligned with company policies and procedures.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, department managers, and store leadership to ensure that training needs are met and goals are achieved.Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 6 months of experience in a retail or food service environment, with a focus on customer service and training.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and department managers. Ability to develop and deliver training programs, with a focus on customer service and food safety.Working Conditions
    • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
    • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent interruptions and deadlines.
