Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Prepared Foods Department Supervisor at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Prepared Foods department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are supported in their roles.Key Responsibilities

• Department Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to the Prepared Foods team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming environment for our customers, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and rotation of inventory, ensuring that our shelves are always stocked and that our products are fresh and of high quality.
• Team Development: Mentor and train new team members, providing feedback and coaching to help them grow and succeed in their roles.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all applicable health and safety regulations are met, including Food Safety and regulatory duties required in the department.Requirements
  • 12+ months retail experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
