Pediatrician Opening - Springville, AL Birmingham: 32m MD/DO Experience Required Position Details - Full-time, permanent- Outpatient only- Employed- Private practice- Join 1 Pediatrician and 4 APPs- Established group- Schedule: Flexible. 32hrs direct patient care/week. Clinic is open Mon-Fri until 8pm.- One Saturday rotation required/month (8am-12p)- Few pediatric admissions required- No call shared with local hospital - After call service is used for clinic after hours & weekends- Average 20 patients/dau- EMR: Azalea Loan repayment of 50K for 3 years (150K total) awarded to physicians in rural practice provided through the state of Alabama Compensation & Benefits - Encourage negotiation from experienced candidates- 220K base - 10K relocation- 20K sign on bonus- First year guarantee- Yearly production bonus- Family health, dental, and vision insurance paid- 401 K with 4% match by employer- Malpractice insurance and license renewal paid- 6.5 paid holidays- $2500 CME Stipend- 18 paid days off that can be used for vacation and CME. Sign-on bonus of $20k. Relocation up to $10k Ideal Candidate - Team Player with positive attitude that provides exceptional patient care to children, organized, fun and friendly, comfortable collaborating with NP, flexible, good communicator, able to close charts within 96 hours at most. About the Group - Practice plans to open in early 2023. - Owner of the practice has been established for more than 10 years and owns 5 pediatric offices in North Alabama. - If candidate is available to work prior to practice opening for operation, we would ask candidate to work four days per week as a Locums at one of the other clinics. This will allow the new physician to train and begin to establish a routine that can carry over to the new office in Troy once opened.
