Job Description:

Summary We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Williamson Health. Our health care system, located in Franklin, Tennessee, is dedicated to providing world-class, compassionate care to the residents of Williamson County and surrounding communities. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical nursing support at our medical group. You will be responsible for various clinical tasks, including communicating clinical information to patients and businesses, performing clinical office procedures, and ensuring adequate clinical supplies. Position Requirements

Medical Assistant certificate and/or higher degree
One year of experience in a medical office environment
Competence in using medical equipment and tools Performance Standards
Accurately records patient's medical history and vital signs
Coordinates referrals to other medical services
Obtains prior authorization for medications and diagnostic testing
