NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in Birmingham, Alabama.Job Description & Requirements

  • Employment Type: TravelThey need NRP and BCLS. They deal with a lot of High risk post-partum deliveries. They also will re-admit (so if a mother has just delivered and was sent home, they will readmit them to Mother baby for instances such as high blood pressure related to pre-eclampsia or wound infections from a delivery). They are a 41 bed unit and do couplet care (or room-in care, meaning mom and baby in same room). It is a non-laboring floor. Their ratio is 4-6 patients. They do receive some GYN overflow.
