ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms engine repairsTroubleshoot engine codesProficient on all repairs on enginesRemove and install transmissionRemove and install clutches, rear ends and engines Changes OilRotates and changes tiresTests systems and components Repairs or replaces worn parts ahead of breakdown or damageDrives vehicle for testing purposes Annotates RepairsComplete and maintain legible work order Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsPerforms other duties as may be assignedDetermines trailer condition by conducting inspections and makes essential repairsRepairs brake systems and ABS systemsRemoves and replaces tiresMakes repairs on trailer body and interiorDiagnoses and repairs electrical system and lightsPerform suspension workOther duties as may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSDegree in Diesel Mechanics preferred.One Year Minimum of Previous Diesel Mechanic / Service Technician experience preferred.
PREFERRED SKILLSMust be customer oriented, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in fast paced environment. Good work ethic and attitude a must.
