spaceflight!This role is part of Enterprise Engineering (EE), where
we provide technical standards, tools, processes, training, and
subject matter expertise for product engineering and manufacturing.
EE allows all Blue Origin business units to benefit from commonly
used capabilities, hardware, and software and assists business
units in identifying, selecting, and training engineers from both
inside and outside the organization.As part of a hardworking team
of diverse specialist, you will support of all phases of design,
development, testing and operations. We are seeking a highly
skilled Windchill Business Administrator to join our team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for the administration,
configuration, and support of our Windchill PLM system. This role
requires a deep understanding of Windchill functionality, including
multiple organization management, and will work closely with
various departments to ensure the system meets business
needs.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Business Administration: Manage the day-to-day operations of
the Windchill PLM system, including user management, access
control, and system monitoring.
- Configuration and Customization: Configure Windchill to meet
business requirements, including the setup of lifecycles,
workflows, and information structures.
- Data Management: Oversee data integrity, manage import/export
processes, and ensure proper data segmentation across multiple
organizations.
- Support and Training: Provide technical support to end-users,
troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions to enhance user
proficiency.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather
requirements, implement solutions, and ensure Windchill aligns with
business processes.
- Upgrades and Maintenance: Plan, execute, or evaluate system
upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal
performance and security.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of
configurations, processes, and user guides.Minimum Qualifications
- 2-year AS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-five years of experience as a Windchill business
administrator.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Best
Practices, including product configuration management and document
change management workflows.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with and
communicate to a diverse user base.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident
(current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as
a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multiple organization functionality in
Windchill.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to
product configuration management (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Experience with ThingWorx/Navigate from Parametric Technology
Corporation (PTC).
- Experience with WTPart/CAD integration and product
structures.
- Practical familiarity with Windchill APIs.
- Ability to write Java for Windchill applications.
- Experience with the REST API.
- Familiarity with a scripting language such as JavaScript or
Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and code
management.Compensation Range for:CA applicants is
$85,140.00-$119,196.00;CO applicants is $78,045.00-$109,263.00;WA
applicants is $85,140.00-$119,196.00Other site ranges may
